Out with the Old, In with the New...

Well today is Jan. 3, 2012, and we didn't do much today. It was Adam's first day back to work after the New Year and we just played at the house, painted and cooked and then we had family night and watched "Mr. Popper's Penguins!! The girls loved it! I didn't take any pictures today (I know I am going to have to get used to taking them daily for the blog)!!
We really enjoyed our Christmas and the New Years!! We stayed home for both, but we loved it. We did take the girls to the movies to watch "Alvin and the Chipmunk's Chipwrecked"! They were fantastic there but had lots of energy afterwards!! Adaley stayed up and we toasted our sparkling Apple Cider and Peyton fell asleep around 11:40!! Santa was really good to all of us and they are still talking about Christmas!! I am the main cook of the house and I cook every holiday but I guess this Christmas Peyton is old enough to notice it and she loved Christmas dinner!! She couldn't quit telling Adam and Adaley, "wow look at our Christmas dinner"!! It was really cute!! All in all we had a great a Christmas and New Years. Now if I could just talk Adaley into letting me take down the Christmas decor!!

To Peyton and Adaley: I love you both so much and have enjoyed watching how much you both have grown since the last Christmas!! You both are amazing and make me smile everyday! There isn't one day I don't love my job of being home with y'all! You are both so smart and so advanced for your ages. Peyton I am so proud that in the past year, you have became potty trained, learned how to spell your name, you are trying to read and you can work the computer better than some adults!! Adaley, in the past year you have grown so much. You are becoming more independent, you also can work the computer, you are almost fully potty trained, you have learned your colors and shapes, you can count to 13 by yourself, and every day you want to learn more. You both are such great helpers and both love to learn! You have an adorable bond with each other and are so close. You daddy and I love y'all so much and couldn't be prouder of you both!!

Santa was very good to all of us!!
The girls just came down stairs on Christmas morning and look what they found!!

My Purpose...

I have been debating on starting a blog and I finally decided to since we live so far from family and friends, this would be a great way to keep up, and this is a great way to do an online storybook for my girls! Most of you already know I am a stay at home mom of 2 precious girls, Peyton who is 4 and Adaley who will turn 3, January 23. I am married to an amazing man, Adam who is in the Army and we are currently stationed at Fort Benning, GA. I am always doing something crafty  and I also keep busy with my hobby that I recently started selling on facebook. I make hairbows, hairbow holders, hand painted wooden letters, tutus, blankets, wreaths, wipie cases, diaper/towel cakes, and lots of other stuff sp I stay pretty busy!! I really enjoy scrapbooking but between taking care of my family and working on "Bow Wild" I really don't have much time for it so an online blog that I can print out for my kids each year is perfect and in the process it keeps our family and friends updated!!
